Prior to being stopped, police officer observed our client turn into an intersection where pedestrians were walking across. Client admitted to drinking one beer and showed objective symptoms of intoxication. Client failed 5 field sobriety tests and blew a.10/.10 on portable breath test. Officer was flagged down by citizen stating our client was stumbling in parking lot looking for car. Officer saw client stumbling, get into and start car, turn on lights, press on brake, and look backwards getting ready to back out of parking spot. Client ordered to turn off and exit car. Upon contact, officer observed odor of alcohol, slow and slurred speech and horizontal gaze nystagmus (eye test for impairment/presence of alcohol). Client admitted to drinking 2 ½ beers.
