Client was observed by officers straddling and drifting between lanes, suddenly braking, then veered off one freeway onto another speeding between 80 and 83 mph. Officers also observed client drift to the left nearly colliding with center divider wall.
Officers initiated a traffic stop.
Client slowed to 40 mph on freeway, drifted to the right almost completely onto right shoulder. Client eventually pulled off freeway and stopped next to a curb. Officers observed red/watery eyes and odor of alcohol. Client failed 4 FST’s and blew a.094/.087 on scene. Client was arrested for DUI / Drunk Driving. After arrest, client blew.07/.08 back at jail. Prior to trial, client was offered and plead to an exhibition of speed. Both driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a .08 or greater in the blood charges were dismissed.
