Our client was stopped for going 80 mph in a 55 mph zone. After the stop, officer observed odor of alcohol, red/watery eyes, unsteady gait and slurred speech. Client admitted to drinking a few beers. After further investigation, client failed 4 field sobriety tests and blew a .096/.099 on portable breath test. Client was then arrested for DUI / Drunk Driving. Back at the jail, client blew a .09/.08. Client then took a blood test with the results of .097/.098. Prior to trial, client was offered and plead to an exhibition of speed.
