Client drove through a DUI checkpoint. Officer observed red/watery eyes and strong odor of alcohol. Client first denied drinking then admitted to 1 drink earlier. After further investigation, client failed 5 field sobriety tests and refused to blow into on scene portable breath test machine. Client was then arrested for DUI / Drunk Driving. After arrest, client first wanted a blood test, then decided to take a breath test. Client then blew a .09 but could not give a second sample. Client then took a blood test with a result of .103/.106. At pre-trial, client was offered and plead to an exhibition of speed. Both the driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a .08 or greater in the blood were dismissed. Our client struck the rear of a slower moving vehicle on the freeway. Our client was then struck from the rear by another vehicle who then fled the scene. There were minor injuries. Our client was investigated for DUI / Drunk Driving. Client was observed to have red/water eyes, strong odor of alcohol and admitted to drinking 1 drink. Client failed 4 field sobriety tests and refused an on scene breath test. Client was then arrested for DUI / Drunk Driving. After arrest, client refused a breath or blood test. Prior to trial, client was offered and plead to an exhibition of speed. Both driving under the influence of alcohol charge and refusing a chemical test enhancement were dismissed. Client was observed by officers straddling and drifting between lanes, suddenly braking, then veered off one freeway onto another speeding between 80 and 83 mph. Officers also observed client drift to the left nearly colliding with center divider wall. Officers initiated a traffic stop. Client slowed to 40 mph on freeway, drifted to the right almost completely onto right shoulder. Client eventually pulled off freeway and stopped next to a curb. Officers observed red/watery eyes and odor of alcohol. Client failed 4 FST's and blew a.094/.087 on scene. Client was arrested for DUI / Drunk Driving. After arrest, client blew.07/.08 back at jail. Prior to trial, client was offered and plead to an exhibition of speed. Both driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a .08 or greater in the blood charges were dismissed.

Our client was stopped for going 80 mph in a 55 mph zone. After the stop, officer observed odor of alcohol, red/watery eyes, unsteady gait and slurred speech. Client admitted to drinking a few beers. After further investigation, client failed 4 field sobriety tests and blew a .096/.099 on portable breath test. Client was then arrested for DUI / Drunk Driving. Back at the jail, client blew a .09/.08. Client then took a blood test with the results of .097/.098. Prior to trial, client was offered and plead to an exhibition of speed. While driving through an intersection, another car cut in front of our client's car causing a collision. Police and paramedics responded. Our client was observed with odor of alcohol, bloodshot/watery eyes, slurred speech and unsteady gait. Client admitted to drinking 2 beers with dinner. After failing 4 field sobriety tests, client was arrested for DUI / Drunk Driving. After arrest, client blew .12/.11 back at jail. After a jury trial, client was found not guilty of both driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a .08 or greater in the blood.
