Myles L. Berman Announces 2011-2012 Chicago-Kent College of Law Endowed Scholarship Recipient

LA, CA 3/26/11 – Myles L. Berman, whose gift established the Chicago-Kent College of Law Top Gun DUI Defense Attorney® Myles L. Berman® Endowed Scholarship, announces the recipient for the 2011-2012 academic year. Established in 1999 by Myles L. Berman, this Scholarship is managed by Chicago-Kent College of Law. The Endowment provides financial assistance to students from Southern California based on academic merit and financial need.

The 2011-2012 Scholarship recipient is second year student Michael Jimenez. Graduating with departmental honors from the Honors College at Florida International University in Miami, with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, Mr. Jimenez chose Chicago-Kent because of its competitive trial ad program and emphasis on legal writing. He is expected to graduate in 2013, with a Juris Doctorate law degree.

“Michael is a very impressive young man and his educational achievements are profound. It is easy to see why Chicago-Kent College of Law chose him for this year’s recipient. I am confident that the law school will be proud of Michael and his many achievements as a future attorney,” comments Myles Berman.

MYLES L. BERMAN graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1979 and the University of Illinois in 1976. He was admitted to the State Bar of Illinois in 1980 and the State Bar of California in 1987. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Federal District Court-Northern District of Illinois, the Federal District Court-Central District of California, the Federal District Court-Northern District of California and the Federal District Court-Southern District of California. Myles Berman is a successful, aggressive DUI / Drunk Driving defense lawyer with a national reputation for successfully representing many of his clients charged with DUI / Drunk Driving in Southern California. He is the founder of the National Drunk Driving Defense Task Force, LLC®. Myles Berman lectures extensively in the area of defending people accused of DUI / Drunk Driving before various Bar associations, law schools, police agencies and criminal defense lawyers’ associations. Myles L. Berman is listed in Who’s Who in California, Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in the World. Myles L. Berman has been a criminal defense attorney since 1982.
